The River Camp is located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This conservancy is about a three-hour drive from the capital of Nairobi. The main gate is 14km from the equator turn-off, just before Nanyuki.

The Ngobit River area in the conservancy is known for its lush vegetation, which provides a habitat for various bird species and animals, including, black rhino, lions , leopards , elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Visitors can explore the area on guided walks or game drives, taking in the scenic views and spotting wildlife along the riverbanks.

The River Camp features a stylish and comfortable bar lounge situated on a deck overlooking the river and Mount Kenya. It’s a great spot to relax and unwind after a day of safari activities while enjoying the beautiful views.
